An invigorating, beautiful and relatively easy trek through picturesque mountain villages, forests of bright rhododendron and a variety of ethnic groups and cultures. Winding your way up terraced hillsides pass through villages of the Gurung and Chhetri peoples and emerge onto ridges to indulge in incredible views. The highlight, and high point, of the trek is Poon Hill, which offers the best panoramic views of the high Himalaya in Nepal – Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and the mesmerizing fish-tail pinnacle of Machhapuchhre.

Itinerary in detail:

DAY 01: FLY KTM TO POKHARA - TREK TO ULLERI 1960 m Alt  / 6 HRS  (L+ D)

On arrival in Pokhara airport, you’ll be transferred to the Nayapul which takes a  2 hours drive.

Pokhara is Nepal’s most beautiful natural valley, which is also the most popular tourist destination.  The Annapurna, Machhapuchre (Fishtail) and uncountable Mountains always stand high welcoming every visitor with a smile. 

At Pokhara Hotel you’ll meet all of our crew members. Following a drive to Nayapul, the trek to the village of Ulleri will be begin. Passing through sub-tropical forests, river banks and villages, the trek will take about six hours. We’ll then have an overnight stay in Uller. Lodge stay

DAY 02: TREK ULLERI TO GHOREPANI / 2750m Alt. / 4 HRS (B+L+D)

The day’s trek is a long, uphill walk to Ghorepani. Walk up and down hills following the river for half an hour. Then, the staircase that seems to go on endlessly, passing by many homes and tea houses as it climbs. Part way up, you'll get the first view of Annapurna South. Higher up, enter a wooded area passing pink blooming trees and large bamboo plants. You'll come across a stream and past this, you'll be in Banthanti. Beyond Banthanti (2300m), enter a jungle with thick vegetation and mossy trees. Then, follow a stream up a narrow valley with more stairs to climb and emerge from the jungle at Nangathanti (2520m). From here on, another hour of climb will get you to Ghorepani (2750m). Lodge stay

DAY 03: TREK TO POON HILL TO TIRKHEDHUNGA / 1480m Alt. / 6 HRS (B+L+D)

Very early morning hike up to Poon Hill at 3190m (1 hour). At the top, marvel at the regale view of the Dhaulagiri & Annapurna Range as it flaunts itself garbed by hues of the rising sun. Return back to your teahouse to collect your baggage and hit the trail to Tadapani (2590m). The trail from here wends its way north along the ridge line with magnificent views of the Annapurnas stretching out from east to west. Follow a forested ridge for a while, with views to both sides, and then descend steeply down a muddy slope to a small settlement. Continue down a narrow, muddy gorge which is heavily forested. The trail follows a stream, and sometimes goes right down it. Eventually, the gorge widens and the trail enters an open area with a view down a bigger valley. Descend steeply to a stream before climbing through dense forest to Tadapani. Lodge stay

DAY 04: TREK TIRKHEDHUNGA – NAYAPUL AND FLY BACK TO KATHMANDU (B+L)

The trail initially goes down all the way down to Nayapul via Birethanti village, then one hour drive to Pokhara. 

We will transfer to the airport as per your flight schedule.

Cost includes:

  • Local lodge accommodation on trek

  • Meals (Breakfast, Lunch and dinner ) during trek only

  • All domestic transport as listed in itinerary

  • Domestic flights Kathmandu-Pokhara-Kathmandu.

  • Annapurna conservation entrance fees

  • Trekking permit (TIMS)Porter to carry personal gear 

  • 15kg luggage allowance while on trek

  • English speaking trekking guide

  • Comprehensive medical kit

The Cost Does Not Include

  • Cost for extra usage of vehicle, other than scheduled & mentioned in the itinerary.

  • Cost for any other service not mentioned under the “Cost Includes” Head

  • Cost for Insurance.

  • Additional cost arising due to mishaps, political unrest, natural calamities like - landslides, road blockage, etc. In such case extra will have to be paid on the spot by the guest directly. 

  • Payment for service provided on a personal request.

  • Personal expenses such as laundry, bottled water, soft drinks, incidentals, porter charges, tips etc.
